Wheel noob needing help

So I saw these wheels on CL and I'm really thinking about buying them.

http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/pts/5140111059.html

So my questions are, will I need spacers for this size tire (235/45/17)/should I be concerned about rubbing?

Is it going to be a hassle with the TPMS,meaning, will I be able to swap them from my stock tires?

Thanks for your help.

I believe they will fit without rubbing. You should be able to swap them for your TPMS.

You need more info to answer your questions.

What is the wheel width 7.5", 8"? (He says 235 tire so I would guess 8")

What is the offset? (that would tell you if you need spacers or not)

It won't be a hassle with the TPMS. You can take it to a shop to swap them from the stock wheels (I think its $25 per wheel) or don't install the TPMS (they tell you if you need to put air in the tire)

But as mentioned above it should fit without rubbing

I'm going to guess they are 17x7.5, seller doesn't state it...You'll be fine without spacers with 235/45/17 tires.

TPMS...if you don't want to get a new set or move them from your OEM wheels, after 25 miles you'll get a tire pressure alert, it goes away after a day or two. Not much of a hassle as long as you check your pressure manually every so often. Yes, you should be able to swap them back and forth, don't really think you need to though.

None of my concern but... on discount tires you can get those for 115 each, I really don't think those wheels and those tires are worth $600 used that seller is asking. You can get 10x better sets for a little more or even the same amount if you are patient and look at the private sale here. I don't know...find out how much everything new is first http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...=prca&fqs=true
See if it is worth it to you...good luck.

Edit: oh, he stated the total...

They should fit fine on stock suspension. Either run them without the TPMS or have a tire shop switch em over and balance

Lowballing for some fake ass wheels.

Yeah, I'd be more upset about paying full asking price for these.

You must have a lot of friends huh?

I like to not reply to low ballers because I'm not a self righteous asshole.

I've got some cheap Canadian friends, they'll even admit it.

But seriously, the wheels aren't worth much at all (maybe new, like $500). People act like putting decent tires on fake wheels raises the price. I'd be surprised if he actually got $600 for some used undesirable wheels, unless the buyer doesn't know anything about wheels.

so, you're saying the tires carry no value to the package? interesting.
