smh. There are multiple full titanium exhausts that are only available with a blue tip. Doesn't stop them from being fully titanium. Take Tomei for example.

I stumbled upon this thread as I am torn between having burnt tips or not when I get an aftermarket exhaust. I'm not so concerned about the rice/nice part though.


The burnt tip does look nice especially on some colors like WRB. However, it does stick out and might attract some unwanted attention from some people. Just plain old SS would be more discreet.


Then there is the situation where you really like the exhaust sound but it only comes with the burnt tip. The Blitz exhaust comes to mind.

Tip color is the last thing I care about an exhaust. Sound, performance, and weight come first. When I checked all three boxes, my exhaust (HKS HiPower SpecL) came with a burnt tip. I wish it didn't but ... got used to it.

I voted rice. With that said, my exhaust has burnt tips. I figured my car could use a little variety. It's just going to get dirty anyway
