Does this include the nav unit?

That is all I removed from inside the car. I found a picture online that looked like a big metal thing that bolts to the top of the radio, If that is what you are talking about, then no it wasn't on there. I think I just plugged some antenna in the back of the new radio if I remember correctly.

If so, I guess I'd be asking for a tiny little more than the $250. I thought people were asking around $3-400 for this radio on here and Ebay. I guess this is more in line with the two together if I am missing that metal box: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-Scion-T...3D261872916390
Do 14-15' newer units have that inside the radio instead of another box attached? I didn't even operate the radio in my car before I changed it out so I really am not sure what is what here. That Ebay guy selling his for $1,187.49 has a picture and it looks exactly like mine does in the back. I'm not sure on what I have but it's exactly what he has pictured. All I know is it's from a 2015 FR-S.

Maybe they don't know what they have, maybe they do and are trying to scam? All I know is mine doesn't have any additional box other than what those two guys have and what they have pictured is what I have.

The NAV unit is a bolt-on that attached to the bottom of the radio (well technically it bolts on the the side using brackets) and then one of the cables from the standard head unit is routed to the GPS unit. It fits in the space right behind the bottom edge of the facia of the radio. It also has a small gauge cable and GPS antenna that runs underneath the dash.

In other words, you are correct @Impureclient from your description you do not have it.

The eBay seller may be intentionally trying to mislead but it does not appear he has the "optional NAV Unit". You could interpret his listing as meaning there is one available.

The additional piece you need is the PT296-00142 GPS module.
