OEM Skid Plate - Subaru/Scion cant get it?

Hey everyone.... I'm having some trouble finding out where to buy an OEM skid plate. The one that came on my '13 FR-S (Canadian) was metal. It is now pooched so I'm looking for a new OEM one.

But I've called Toyota/Scion - they dont have a skid plate in their system.

Subaru has one, but the Subaru Canada website is being updated AND they said it is not metal, their's is a heavy plastic material.

My question - if my FR-S comes with a metal skid plate from factory - why does nobody carry it!

I don't want to spend 1200CAD on a Carbing one.

If I'm looking at this correctly the Scion part number is SU003-01383

Looks about right... I tried telling them that part number before but they cant seem to find it in Canada.

I screenshot and emailed the whole diagram that linked to that part number to try and help.

So odd.

^That's the correct part number for Toyota/Scion, but both Toyota and Subaru should have it in their systems. Officially it's called a splash shield under cover.

Both of those websites are very likely just Toyota dealers which have websites. The part is in the system. Any dealer, including yours, should be able to get it.

Yes, that is exactly what it is. I was just using it as a reference. Any dealer can place an order for parts as long as the exact part number is used.

hey, if you have no luck with Toyota/Scion, try a Subaru dealer with part number 56440CA010

What are the bolts that go into the engine cover plate thing? Could i just pick them up from a home depot ? I lost them all smh

Here's your part numbers for the bolts and how many you need. Can probably look them up and find an equivalent locally.
