Dash Cam

Hey everyone! I got my 2015 BRZ 1 month ago and about a week ago some asshole scratched my whole rear bumper and didn't leave any note and I have no way of finding him. So as I thought of going the Russian way (I'm half Russian so makes sense) and buying 2 dashcams and installing on windshield and rear window. I did a lot of googling before posting but I can't find the right dashcam for me, some turn off when car is off (no good for me) others are overly expensive, some are really large etc. I hope someone can help me out here. I'm not interested that much in recording while I'm driving, but I park on the street and want to make sure no one can get away if something happens to my car again.

TL;DR: I'm looking for a budget dash cam that will record while car is parked and off and has decent quality at night.

Thanks!

i personally have a g1w...and also have a dash cam video with 4million + views  i'm also russian.

if you act on it fast you can get this set which will be perfect for you. the issue with recording when car is off is draining the battery and many cheap dishpans don't have enough battery capacity. you will have to hardwire and will want a "magic power pro".

Damn I didn't get a notification for your reply :( Thanks, I'll consider this set! How long have you had it and how reliable is it?

@Jayela The blackvue camera's work pretty well. They make a 2 channel system for the front and rear of the car. I have the dr 550 for just the front and it works great still. I use the power magic pro with it so it stays on when the car is off without killing the battery. Here's a link with some of their 2 channel cameras
