Aloha

Always wanted to be able to share the build, will do my best to update and help others who need help with this chassis. Just a simple daily driver build aiming to be as clean as possible with oem+ parts, jdm parts and Japan/ Shakotan influence. Enjoy.

Haha you're welcome, wouldn't think this thing is even worthy of that.

It's my favorite look on the twins, no kit, low and stockies, the spacers are just the icing on the cake ;) Less is more for me ....

Update as of November 3, 2015.

Not much has changed as money is an issue, building it has been a joy and driving it has been something else (yes I DD it at this height with no issues other than driveways). Love it and I still continue to fall in love with this car.

New parts as of today:
- Custom 4" Blast pipe muffler delete (will be changing it to a dual tip single exit blast pipe setup)
- Chargespeed Rear Spats
- Work Wheel Lugs
- PBM Lower control arms
- Berk Catless Test Pipe
- Smoked Corner markers

I dig it. Does that Z in BRZ seem crooked or just the pic?

Get some gold wheels on that beast!

I think it was to be honest, I could never really tell. Well, it was pulled off the car so I could mount my TRD wing. Won't need to worry about being crooked no more  but thank you! Hope I can get wheels on soon.. been thinking of some bronze or gunmetal wheels.

It's been awhile but, alot has changed with this build. Over the course of a few months, I've collected a few parts and went with a different direction. I've always loved the style of old 90's drift cars in japan and always wanted to somehow bring it towards my car. I bought some SSR Vienna Courages in 18x8.5 +43, +30 on a 215/40/18.. planning on relipping. I'm using ISC conversion spacers 15mm, yes I had to cut my studs. Other parts still on the side, but... overall slowly but surely I'll get those little details done.

Decided to enter Spocom Hawaii. First show, and it was very humbling to be apart of it. Hoping to enter the next show here in HI.

I'll update as more pictures are processed, just a picture of the car during roll in.

Just a little update...

Finally installed my rucas and fine tuned the front camber a bit. All I really want right now is fatter tires in the rear (225/40's opposed to my 215's) and upping the front tire size to a 40 series tire. Other than that, everything is dialed in and I couldn't be happier. I haven't driven the car since the show because I knew everything wasn't set up the way I wanted and haven't had time to dial in anything. Took some time off and this is the result:

Sadness

Car got rear ended during thanksgiving.. however, insurance is covering everything. Damage is too brutal to show, but new carbon trunk is on order, new diffuser, new bumper etc.

For the time being I lowered the car, and just got the fitment to where I want it to be.

215/40 Yokohama S Drives 225/40, They're a tad fatter than I thought, but now I know. Possibly do 205's and 215's next time.
