Header/Overpipe/Frontpipe question

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of changing to this setup

HKS (old one where the cat was on the actual header) or similar EL catted header (any suggestions? I live in Aus)
Motiv Concept overpipe and High flow cat front pipe.

Currently my car is stock with just a greddy intake and the STI axelback.

Wondering how loud the car may get if i did this? anyone have a similar setup or videos? most videos i found all have a uncatted part somewhere.
I don't mind loud, but I don't it so loud when i'm driving in traffic that I draw unwanted attention. Obviously I dont mind if its loud if im giving it the heavy foot.

if not both would the catted header or overpipe/frontpipe upgrade be better?

thanks!

Have a read of the Basic Bolt on Mods link below.

Running header even without a tune wont harm anything but you wont gain much out of it.

Those Gready\takeda intakes rearly do need scaling of maf sensor to run well.

You would be better getting a cheaper catless header like tomei. gruppe-s or rls there prett well the same either el or uel depending on your sound preference.

then putting the money saved to a tune and even leave the overpipe and front pipe stock

that way it will be nice sounding no drone and producing more power due tune.

thanks steve! sounds good. Would doing the overpipe along with the uncatted headers change much? I'm thinking if I was doing headers I might as well do th e connecting overpipe, leaving the stock front and mid pipes

Headers plus tune biggest gain best bang for buck NA

best is header tune e85

frontpipe with high flow cat (you might as well do overpipe at same time) will squeese out another 3 maybe 4 hp or so hp if you already have catless header.

its diminishing return after catless header

intakes rearly not worth the trouble just do a drop in filter.

catbacks for sound rearly.
