Tomei UEL

Hey guys. Going on a budget build here (staying under 3K-ish).

Started with a Tomei UEL. Shipped should have it by Friday, but I got a question.

For anyone who has one, does it bolt up with the factory over pipe?

Yes it does.

Question for ya.

Is this header supposed to sound a bit different under throttle? I've got my burbles. But also this sound of... almost like air escaping.

But I have no exhaust leaks. After I installed I went to my dealership and they double checked my work said I was good to go.

Sounds like an exhaust leak... check it yourself.

Did. Can't find a thing. Cars not running weird. No cels. Running a bit rich but that's the nature of OFT tunes.

Burbles as in rumbles? It should sound different to the stock header as it's now unequal length.

If it's like a whooshing noise when you're on the throttle, that's normal for an aftermarket header. Thinner metal walls.
