DFW 86day 2015
 

Like some of you, I cant go to Austin for the big 86 day. So I'm hosting a small GTG for us DFW guys. There is a cruise starting in McKinney with a route I got from the rx7 guys and it will end us in Denton for lunch at a cool burger place called Mr Frosty's. Meeting place is a Quick Trip around 10am so we can fill up our tanks and wait for everyone to get there. Then hit the trail at about 11am, its about a 50 mile course that's easy and with a lot of good sights, but still has some fun curves.

Mr Frosty is great! We go there for lunch all the time. And my boss used to street race with Pat way back in the day.

How was the route you guys took?

It was good. The section from Preston to 75, (route 455), was the fun part and they have repaved most of it so it was super smooth. I have driven this route before and it was awful with potholes and dips. This time was real fun and might plan something in the fall.

Sounds like I should come check it out with you guys sometime.

I think a couple of my friends went to this. Was Nathan there by any chance?
