Has anyone taken their car to TJ for a weekend trip. Any issues ?

Take a rental or a beater. Heard the car theft rate is high there. Wouldn't risk it.

I've been to some pretty ugly areas in Europe. I anticipate it will be the same.

Take a rental. I've heard stories of TJ police "impounding" modified cars.
