Does anybody know what causes this? I typically just clean my windows again when I see it.

Well I'm guessing it's simply a combination of physics and adhesion at work. That edge is not being "wiped down" like all the other parts of the windshield.

The right wiper technically leaves a vertical streak as well, but it is quickly wiped down by the left wiper.

Reading is essential..:bonk:

I didnt realize we were talking about the windshield. I was refering to the residue on the driver and passenger windows after going up and down.

And a macro towel for your micro towel. Have to keep the whole cleaning chain maintained.

Teseo 07-14-2015 10:30 AM

Dont forget nano towel

You can always avoid this by holding an umbrella over your car when it rains.
