ICSCC Championship racing Aug 1st/2nd Pacific Raceways

Coming up is the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs (ICSCC) 9th Championship race of the season hosted by the IRDC (International Race Driver's Club).

Racing is on Saturday and Sunday. Spectating is free and encouraged!

I don't know if this could be rolled into a 86 Meet of some kind, but y'all are welcome to.

There is also an open invitation for volunteers (we feed you) as we always need an extra hand or two, like at the corner stations.. waiving passing flags, giving a driver a black flag, etc. If you're interesting in being part of the racing experience please send me a PM.

The IRDC Presents: The 10th Annual Car-Tender Challenge.

i'm interested in helping out!

For those of you who haven't seen this track, it's very fun to watch, especially the first steep switchback on the back half of the track. I went to the classic races over july4th weekend and had a great time, in spite of the heat.

Thank you Sammakko!

Here's the link with an overview of the variety of ways you can help.
http://www.irdc-racing.com/volunteers-needed/

There are options that don't take the whole day and options that put you out next to the racetrack (turn marshal) which is very exciting. Beer and BBQ is included on Saturday. :)

I just noticed that the Volunteer page doesn't have the volunteer director's contact info.

The IRDC Volunteer Director is Ralph Hunter: hunterr54@yahoo.com
The IRDC Vice President is Mark Higginbotham: mhig55@msn.com

Send an email to Ralph and cc Mark.

Subject: New volunteer for Cartender Challenge

Body: introduce yourself and that you'd like to help out. If you know what you exactly how you'd like to do to help (like pregrid or turn station) just let him know.

See you at the track.
