Disable windows via fuse? [Solved]

I am trying to roll down my windows and disable the buttons during a car inspection because of some window tint issues.

Is there a fuse I can pull that the window motors are on or do I need to pull the harness which is I think ED2 on the drivers side which is listed on page 47 of the wiring manual (BRZwiring.pdf)

Thanks

It looks like you can pull the 25A fuses in the fuse block under the hood labeled D FR DOOR and D FL DOOR

you can always open the door panel and unplug the harness. Or you can just put tape over the switch and put warning on steering and window switch for do not open window due to new tint

pull the fuse, should be good

im gonna assume your worried your going to fail inspection if they see you have tint

wouldnt they find it weird if they try to roll up your windows that both dont work????

Maybe, but I don't think it can fail for having windows that don't work.

Looks like pulling just the D FR DOOR fuse worked. Disabled the windows and the door lock buttons as expected.

And I got that sticker... This BRZ rides again

Just out of morbid curiosity - How do you plan to respond when they say "Hey your windows dont work"???

I was wondering the same. Here you would fail inspection because the windows didn't work.

Great. My friend went through the same thing, he didn't have to pull any fuses because the place he used never bothered to roll the windows up. He just always made sure to go on a nice day.
