Agency Power Or Megan Racing NA type exhaust
Debating whether the Megan Racing NA type or the Agency Power Catback
I love the deep sound, and wouldn't mind it being loud, as long as I can have a conversation in my car with the passenger. I've seen a video of the Agency power combined with a borla UEL header and it sounds amazing [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKKRYe3Z_s4"]86 BRZ FRS with borla headers + agency power catback - YouTube[/ame] Pros and Cons for both exhausts please I heard the Megan Racing hangs a little too low and can jsut be scraping the ground all day if your car is lowered...and mine is lowered on tanabe springs. Agency Power: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Agency-Power-AP-FRS-170-Cat-Back-Stainless/dp/B00AJT8YXC"]Amazon.com: Agency Power (AP-FRS-170) Cat-Back Exhaust, Stainless Steel: Automotive[/ame] Megan Racing NA: http://www.e-autosports.com/megan-racing/megan-racing-cat-back-system-natype/mrcbssfr12v2mmrcbssfr12v2vor/i-1754504.aspx[/url] |
to tell you the truth, neither. both are cheap not so good companies. if you want loud, go with TOMEI. you can also conversate.

Don't get the hate on Megan either. Had their lower control arms and I was pleased with them. I also considered their drift spec exhaust, but found something I liked a little bit more.
I'd say, if your mind is made up on one of those two, go with whichever you like the most and call it a day. |
Neither. Go HKS single exhaust with UEL headers. Here is a video of my setup with OpenFlash Headers.

I had some agency power exhaust parts... was not impressed with fitment.
Had a leaky slip-joint as well, and while I could have welded it, this would have made it impossible to remove from the car. Didn't matter, as the slip-joint seized when I tried to remove it and ended up cutting it out of the car and throwing it in the bin. Felt good to remove it and install something that actually fit well. Just my experience, I'm sure there are people who have had no problems. |
Megan has been known for being, well, crap... No idea on the AP stuff.

If you're looking into these types of exhaust (price point wise) why not just go to a reputable exhaust shop and get a custom one made...prolly cheaper. On a personal note Buddyclub spec2, Greddy SP & Tomei 60s FTW, have had all of those and for the money nothing beats the buddyclub but I love my 60s.

2 points for the 60s!
