Help diagnose picture from inside bellhousing
When I was changing my transmission fluid today, I saw something glistening from the bellhousing inspection hole. I tried to take as good pictures as possible, because it's near impossible to get a good light in there.
It looks like the TOB is dripping with oil, while that whole area should be dry. I've never seen the twins TOB bearing before, so if somebody has had their transmission off, does anything else look off in the pictures? http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/...pszxwwhau5.jpg http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/...psb1yzeykl.jpg http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/...ps5xusujfn.jpg http://i1052.photobucket.com/albums/...psliyondkw.jpg |
Nice pictures. Odd to see oil on the TOB. Maybe it was squeaking at one point and someone used spray lube to quiet it down?
Make sure your slave cylinder isn't leaking because it could be leaking down the fork to the TOB. |
