The FR-S owners and I lined up all three silver colors for a comparison.

From left to right:
Silver Ignition (J8A), Argento/Sterling Silver Metallic (D6S), and Steel/Ice Silver Metallic (G1U).

Steel looks great in person, but I will always have a special place for Silver Ignition in my heart.

I like the way that J8A looks different under certain lighting conditions. Still love my Argento though.

The G1U color can also vary a good amount in different lighting conditions.

Yup. My Steel has a pretty broad color change depending on lighting.

I was all for Argento when I was first looking at the car. But then Steel came out for the 2015 models and I asked my dealer to find one of those in their network.
