It pains me to sell and I'm taking a huge hit but I need something bigger. My loss is your gain.

This is a great car and will make somebody really happy. Bottom line, somebody is getting a good deal here. A family means that I need a bigger daily so the frs has got to go. I wish I could keep this one but it's gonna have to come off the books. The FRS is an amazing platform and I swear to own another one someday. But starting a family is what my wife and I are planning so bye bye FRS. I will miss the car dearly while I get some boring box on wheels that is automatic.

Thanks guys, I very much enjoy this message board and the people on it. I do plan to keep following this car.

The plus on your side is that you still got that sexy MR2 for a fun drive! So good that you didn't sell it. It's worth keeping since it's paid off

Oh trust me, you going to love your boring automatic box on wheels, the more boxy and the less involved it is, with all attention towards the kid you really start loving the appliance factor. Different tools for different jobs. Thats why I mentioned at Timmys meet we were a while ago how I loved CR-V as my wife's car and baby hauler, thats what we are likely getting.
We have Mazda 3 sedan now, while it "works" its such a pain. The car seat getting in and out is hard, the more weight he puts in, you need to bend downwards a bit. I understand why people love SUVs, the higher position works so well when dealing with kid car seats. The trunk is a bitch to load in the stroller etc.
I guess the ultimate car guy's thing would be some mega hatch, but I haven't given them a look yet to see how good they would be for baby duty. I still think low seating position is a disadvantage for some uses.

Good luck with selling the FR-S, love the color too, last time we went to Futureshop parking lot meet with my wife, she saw one in that color and said how nice it looks (she used to have majestic blue maxima before).

I'm truly a big kid so I gotta at least have one toy :) . And you're right, I owe the MR2 nothing but more driving, so it stays.

I said I wanted a box so I'm literally looking for Scion Xb's lol. Should make the perfect baby hauler.

One day while I was waiting for my FR-S to be done, I took a sneak into an xB. It has pretty good modularity in getting seats up/down/flat for hauling stuff. The only box I like better would be the Honda Element....that thing is the perfect ski trip car
