2015 FR-S with Android phone?
 

Hey all;

I've got a 15 FR-S with no nav, and am currently using an iPhone 5s. Currently when I plug it in via USB I get access to all of the iPod/Apple Music functionality (playlists, etc.)

I'm thinking of moving to Android - does plugging an Android give the same kind of control? And what about Google Music? Phones I'm considering are S6, MotoX and Nexus 6.

It does full iPod control over both USB and Bluetooth, not sure if most (or any) android phones have that sort of interface/API for playing music, or if it would just give you file access like plugging in a USB key. I'm pretty confident that android won't have that, but I could be wrong.

I use android over bluetooth all the time in mine works great. Google music also works fine, although I don't usually use it just because I have other players I prefer on android.
