Supra Owners Build Thread

As requested this is the Supra owners build thread, guys post quickly so you can edit those posts with your supra build I'll go first

"HotSoup" (liscence plate)

It all started with my 07 Turbo Si Coupe,

http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/z...s/IMG_9893.jpg
my first ever new vehicle I purchased while I was In the service. I spent roughly about 13,000$ on parts (engine, interior, exterior, ect.). And after owning it for about 1 1/2 years a small exhaust leak on the turbo manifold blew out and caught the firewall on fire, while I was driving home from the gym at 730am. After about a 10-15 min fire fight with me and a fire extinguisher(thrown to me by a random spectator) the fire was put out, but not before causeing enough damage total the car beyond repair, even most of the parts I had put on it were un salvageable. So have getting re-emburssed from my insurance which paid me 24,000$ for the civic, which goes to show don't loose your receipts. After a few weeks of looking around for a new project, I found a 97 supra TT for 20,000$, well under what they usually go for In great condition which this one def was. So I drove up to Dallas on a crazy cold day In the spring(snow on the ground In Dallas). Not 30 min after purchasing I was pulled over(no liscence plate) and was accused of stealing it and removing the plates. After clearing that up with the bill of sale, I drove it home and the build began

The car already had a long list of mods which I will edit the post after I go over the list In detail.

But the main parts/mods are

BoostJunkie 01-16-2011 03:56 PM

Lol than man I was very impressed how it turned out, my buddy does great work

Dimman 01-16-2011 03:58 PM

So how long until you have the $$$ for the compound system?

BoostJunkie 01-16-2011 06:34 PM

Well first things first I'm redoing the entire drive tn first, then upgrading the fuel system to E85 and triple densel fuel pumps along with the compound turbo setup, so we still got at least 15,500$ worth of stuff before the new turbo system will be up and running.... Good lawd that's gonna be a huge hole I'n my pocket!!!

Not including tuning and any extra stuff I need

You like it better then what we were talking?

Snaps 01-17-2011 10:23 PM

Haha, I still didn't get what we were talking about! XD But yeah, looks good! Keeping the rear-most vent red helps to tie it all together - IF it was CF I think it would begin to look a little too much....

BoostJunkie 01-18-2011 09:23 AM

Yeah but I like that we basically out lined all the vent lines with the CF, I'll take some better close up pics when I wash it Saturday, also going to take some pics by a wall I'n down town Houston, should get some very nice shots, I'll post them on Monday

Here's the wall
