[FS] - Playboy Magazine collection + extras

I have a collection of Playboy magazines and some supplements that I believe came with a subscription or something like that. I have the following Issues:
  • 1995: Feb - Dec
  • 1996: Jan - Sept, Nov - Dec (Missing October)
  • 1997: Jan - Dec
  • 1998: Jan - Dec
  • 1999: Jan - Dec
  • 2000: Jan - Dec (Includes the January Millennium Collector's Edition)
  • 2005: Jan - Dec
  • 2006: Jan - Dec
  • 2007: Jan - Dec
  • 2008: Jan - May

Note, Some of these issues contain The Girls Next Door, and Kim Kardashian. And the Tomb Raider issue is in there as well. Also, Jenny McCarthy appears in like 3 or 4 different issues. You can almost see her becoming more insane as time goes on. haha.

Nearly all of the books are in very good condition. About 5 to 8 of them might have some creasing and 1 has a torn cover. None of the pages are stuck together and the one with the torn cover has the rest of the book in perfect shape. The millennium edition one is in very good condition.

Here are the supplements:
  • Playmate Fantasies (1994)
  • Bare, Beautiful & Blonde (1996)
  • Forbidden Pleasures (1996)
  • Centerfold Sensations (1998) - Note, There are 2 copies of this one
  • Midnight Playmates (1998)
  • Sizzling Summer Nudes (2003)
  • College Girl Fantasies (2003)
  • Erotic Sensations (1998)
  • Best of Bathing Beauties (1998) - Note, There are 2 copies of this one
Playboy Catalogs:
  • Summer 2000 - The Collectors Room
  • Fall 2001
  • Summer 2003
  • Valentines Day 2003
  • Fall 2007
  • Holiday 2007
Misc:
  • Video Age Inc. Film Directory (1998)

So that's 111 Magazines and a good stack of supplements in total. I'd like to get $100 cash in person (Or PayPal in person) for the whole lot (That's less than $1/book and the extras are free essentially). Also, only people 18+. I don't want Chris Hansen to show up at my door asking me any questions. ;)

I'm in Plantation (Ft. Lauderdale, FL area). Since it's cash in person, you'll get to look over the stuff before you buy it. I can *maybe* post pictures of the covers, but I'm not sure if that violates the forum's policy for posting.

Moderators: If posting this thread period violates the forum rules, then please delete it. I'm just trying to offer these to the community before I brave the underbelly of Craigslist.

Yep. Shipping anywhere would make this way too expensive. The 2 boxes I have them in are quite heavy.

What no pics? LOL!

Oh well, time to try craigslist. :(

Have you checked rates for media mail from the USPS? This is exactly the type of thing it's for. It's slow but it's very cheap.

Link to USPS info

Thanks! I just checked out shipping for 40lbs from my zipcode to 90210 to get a ballpark number. It was < $20. I have them in 2 boxes, but they're not in good packaged boxes for shipping. I will look into some regular packaging and then offer up some shipping options.

Thanks again for the suggestion on Media Mail.

may i also suggest if u decide to ship these...put the magazines in a plastic trash bag and try to seal it as well as possible with tape
...hell put that plastic bag in another plastic bag...then put them in a sturdy box

I work at ups and the number of boxes destroyed because of water either from rain or another package with bottles or w/e breaking open is ridiculous.

A collection like this deserves to be protected properly.

Yes, I work for shipping company and if your box is heavy which books/paper/documents are, they will not be treated gently. As long as you use a proper box and pack it tightly it will be fine though. Don't be one of those people that uses a cereal box quality and expect to ship heavy glass item without being damaged lol

Thanks for the tips. I still have them and they do not meet the criteria for media mail. :( It would likely be 2 boxes and they are heavy. The trash bags to prevent moisture is a great idea. I would really like to find someone local, but I had no success with even craigslist.

If someone is interested in these being shipped to them, I am flexible on price. I don't want these things to go to waste.
