Acceleration Rattle

Can anyone help me diagnose what could possibly be wrong here.....

I just picked my car up from the dealer after getting the transmission replaced (25k miles) due to a bad 5th gear synchro. Subaru put a brand new transmission in rather than fixing the synchro.

but now halfway home I have a crazy rattle/clunk/popping noise coming from my center console when I accelerate. This is only in 1st or 2nd start outs and only when rolling into the gas. I'd consider it about a medium load on the engine during acceleration at low speed. you can just hear it at the end of the video here:

Take it back in

It's probably your shift lever.

I have a first year (12/2012) and my first lever was actually bent according to the dealership.

Thanks hopefully it won't cause any damage until I can get it back. Sho upset I missed driving it too much

I had my transmission replaced a month ago dues to grinding when shifting from third to fourth. Now, with the new transmission, I experience the same thing you do. I have had a hell of a time trying to get them to fix it, and am meeting with the Subaru regional representative soon to discuss it, as the local service advisors and technicians have been of no help.
My best guess is they gave me (us?) a rebuilt transmission, and the input shaft is out of balance. Keep an eye on this thread and I'll let you know what I come up with.

Can you tell us more about this?
Did you ever have your transmission replaced?
Was it bent from the factory?
How did a bent lever cause vibration and noise?
Thanks

Well took it in and what do you know, they didn't tighten the drive shaft support... All fixed now

I was going to suggest that it sounded like the drive shaft... damn dealership mechanics.
