TEIN STREET FLEX for track use?

So im thinking of getting some TEIN STREET FLEX. They are cheap, seem decent, and have quite a lot of adjustment (camber, height, soft/stiff).

Has anyone run them on the track? can you give some input about it? I'm not talking about competition level tracking, just the good old track day. My current set up its not up to the task after turbo (300whp), so i am looking to improve it.

Thanks!

What's your current setup? What tires are you running?

Wait for the Tein Flex Z's to come out. They are the replacements to the Street flex, cheaper and a better quality. @CSG Mike had a lot of good things to say about it in this thread here:

They are not state side yet, however their are a few overseas distrubters you can get them from and shipped over here.

I have it on my BRZ. I do track my car too. Usually six times a year.

I did get my Tein Street Flex brand new for dirt cheap through the closeout sale. Have been to Buttonwillow with it installed once. It's a no brainer choice for people who are looking to have fun at the track, especially with the price point it's being dealt at. Love how firm it is at the track with it. The ride is very nice at the softest setting. Some of my friends can't believe how smooth the car rides.

Here's my set up:

17x9 +35 RPF1
245/40/17 RS3
Tein Street Flex with -2 camber all four corners

Im running ROTA Titans 17x9 with 245/40 tires for my street set up. For the track Enkei RPF1 17x7.5 with R compound slick tires, thou im thinking of going with some semi slick 255's ones on the Titans and see if the grip improves.

Thanks for the tip on the Tein Z. I live in Argentina, so i have to import them anyway... might as well get them from Japan or somewhere else.

O really like the fact that they are adjustable at that price range.. roads here suck so running on soft as a daily is a must. And going stiffer and adding more camber for track is awesome.

And no need to send out for a rebuild. Just buy the replacement dampers that are ~100usd a piece
