Pebble Time FR-S Watch Face
I just got a Pebble Time and wanted to create a simple watch face:
http://apps.getpebble.com/en_US/appl...c20efcdc000058 Enjoy! Update: I just released the new watch face for Pebble Time: RPM! A tachometer that acts as a clock, so you can drive fast even when standing still :) I'd add a few more features and options in the next coming releases. http://apps.getpebble.com/en_US/appl...b28fb1260000b2 |
i have a Moto 360 and i use this FRS watch face from time to time, when the watches battery gets low, the check engine light comes on

I've been working on a new watch face, RPM, and thought I'd ask for some feedback.
There are many ways to represent time on a tach - a true tach with realistic numbers (screenshot), or easier to read - 0 - 6 tach for mins, and 0 - 120 mph for hours. But I feel the 0 - 6 although easier to reed, feels like a Volvo and is not "sporty". I could also swap the tach and speedo, the tach going to 12 like a bike, but then the mins go to ?. Last, I tried just one dial as the hours - the screenshot where 9, 10, and 11 are unmarked, but that's just confusing. Unless I show those missing numbers marks only when needed. Thoughts? Do you like more practical but less accurate simulating a tach? Or a realistic tach that simulates a clock? In the end, I could always provide options for a few variations, but I can't create them all. Thanks! |

Updated design, but still same questions. One new option is to use a digital LED readout for hour at the bottom of the tach, and use the main dial for minutes. This is common in a good amount of cars now (digital speedo).
Thanks for any input! |
