No DIY for preserving the interior?

I was hoping to find a guide that could recommend what would be best for the Leather/Alcantara on a BRZ Limited, carpets, dash, etc. I've never really done anything to a car before other than vacuum it.

Am I best off just doing a search on Autopia or somebody have experience on this car in particular and want to offer up a guide?

Yeh i would want to know how people are going to keep the interior of their fr-s clean espically those seats! its my first car so i want to keep it as nice as possible! I herd theres some sort of fabric spray i could get from 3M?

I sprayed some GTechniq Smart fabric on the seats and carpet the first day I had it. I love that stuff IMO way better than anything from 3m

For the FR-S seats and carpets, I used 303 Fabric Guard. Water repellency is great. I haven't spilled anything yet (hopefully ever) so I can't comment on stain resistance. For the dash and other surfaces, I'm going to use CarPro PERL.

I learned alot from the autogeek.net forum

303 Fabric Guard should do the trick on spills. But you can't stop material from becoming worn.

Ducks: I have used PERL and find it tad too glossy on dashboards. I usually stick with Meguiars QID which gives a matte look, cleans and protects all in one wipedown.

303 Protectant is only for hard surfaces. It states below to use 303 Fabric Guard on fabric, carpet and seats.

I can't stand researching this stuff because everybody has a different idea on how to do things. The only agreement I can seem to find is that Xpel Ultimate is the best paint protection film out there.
