Sunday Cruise near Everett.
 

If anyone is interested. I am organizing a short cruise with my car group. would love to see some 86s show up. it'll be a nice drive and below are the details.

So for tomorrow's cruise, we will meet up at Valley View Middle School at 3:30 and roll out at 4:00pm. from there we will take some bendy roads to Monroe and get on wood Creek road. Then we will take Lake Roesiger road, on the east side to avoid the residential heavy west side. head up to N. Carpenter road and all the way to snohomish. we'll end the drive at Fred meyers/Blazing Onion Burger and grab dinner if anyone is interested. The drive should last about an hour.
we will keep it safe and fun. No excessive speeding, burnouts or anyting that may get the cops called on us. I will take the lead since i've already scouted the road. There will be NO left lane passing and if you have a walkie talkie or any kind of 2 way radio, bring it.

I was just in Monroe today while heading to Leavenworth. Was also going to wash the car after all the crap that stuck along for the ride back home. xD

If I'm not feeling too beat up in the morning, I'll let you know that I'm tagging along!

Update: I'm in! Nothing else to do today. Also that hand dipped shake at Blazing Onion looks perfect for this weather. :)

I highly suggest you watch out for wildlife, especially deer. Even saw a black cub on the side of the road.

Oh also, radar detector. No law enforcement was encountered yesterday but you never know...

one must be very mindful of deer on any of these backroads, and specially this year. they've seemingly been more active than on past years. :thumbsup:

well... none of us did. the guy i was calling at the end(he was late and couldn't find us.) got a ticket when he was on his way to the middle school. no wonder he was pissed. but to be fair, he was in a flashy yellow corvette with a loud ass exhaust and was probably going 90+ coming down the road. still sucks he got caught tho.

yah we were going at a decent pace. opened up on some corners. some of the guy from my other group are not very use to the corner speed we were going into tho, so we had to slow down a bit. also its a pretty heavy residential neighborhood, so i kept speed in check and made sure i can stop within a short distance.

Speaking of tickets... I got one right after we split from the burger place. About 10 minutes after hitting the highway lol. 5 over the limit.

Was sad initially but first ticket in 4 years of driving. Better than others I suppose lol

yah i should have warned you. Everett cops are assholes, especially that stretch of road. how did he get you? I think you can definitely fight it. i know i'm fighting mine for going 10 over... (also first ticket in over 4 years)

There are cameras in the median that point in the HOV lane and the lane directly to the right of it. Was funny because there were other cars going much faster and I was picked out. Oh well...
