I've driven the Nissan 350z prior, and the clutch and power characteristics were unpredictable. The Scion FR-S was a smooth transition between shifting, and the power could dial up on command. At the end, it felt like the end of a motorcycle ride. My legs were tingly and euphoric, and I still felt like I was in the driver seat.

I would compare it to sex in how addicting and invigorating this car is. I think I am in love. I don't know how an owner could take it for granted. Definitely a model that will be a classic for time to come. It has the look and feel of a high-end sports car.

I think I might get a test drive of the BRZ just for fun and comparison.
