OEM Audio with Aftermarket Headunit
 

Hey guys/gals,

I recently installed the OEM Audio 400CF system in my car and love it. From what I've read an aftermarket headunit can be a good upgrade for this setup (after sending in for audio retune).

I'm getting fed up with the stock unit in BRZ. I'm just wondering what would be a good unit to get. I'm currently considering the Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. To me it seems the Pioneer units are the superior line available right now. Looking for Apple CarPlay support.

Within my budget what would you guys recommend? I'm looking for $700 or under, doesn't necessarily matter if you have OEM reference series just curious what the best headunit's are this year. If you have the same setup with an aftermarket unit that'll be most helpful though!
