Custom Muffler Delete vs Berk Dual Tip Muffler Delete
Wondering if its worth the money to go with the Berk Muffler Delete or just having a local shop do a custom delete for me.
The shop definitely is cheaper than the Berk however im scared that it will lack the quality as well as the sound. Also after reading many reviews on the Berk, many say the drone is not obnoxiously loud so for this reason I'm really interested in the Berk muffler delete. Not knowing a lot about emissions as well so would like to know if that plays a factor on which one i choose too Thoughts? |
I would say get the muffler shop to make one for you. It's just a pipe with two tips, unless you really want the berk one.

It really depends on the shops welder. I've had a few custom exhausts on my own cars and my friends from various shops, if the welding is crap than you'll eventually develop leaks on the welds, sometimes you'll have a full on failure.
It's part of the reason why I'm more for buying an already made exhaust from a well know company than going custom...unless i have no choice like on our Z31. I'm sure you'll be fine however, you're not going to Willets Point (RIP). |

Make sure you get a resonator or small muffler welded in between the tips or it will drone like crazy in the cabin. Emissions aren't effected by changing out the axleback. If I were you I'd get one already made. If you plan to get a header or front pipe in the future then get this: http://store.worksmotorsports.com/WO..._p/147.212.htm If not, then get this: http://store.worksmotorsports.com/WO..._p/147.211.htm |

BERK dual exit muffler delete cabin drone is everywhere all the time. I had the WORKS AB-M which is quieter than the AB. Lots of videos of both of youtube. |
