My paddock spot sucks.

First nats, #75/175 STX. I'm just here to drink beer and hold down the back of the field.

Hey, I'll be right there with you. I'm just coming to be crew chief for my kids, but I couldn't attend and not drive too. Regardless, it's always a good time.

Motorsports reg crashed the second registration opens for the Pro Finale....unreal.

Pretty sure I'm screwed for pro points anyway.

Does anyone know how many points awarded for a Pro Finale win, it says 24 in rules, but also says 30, and someone told me 40 or 'double points'. Probably going to skip as it doesn't appear that I have mathematical control of my destiny, even if I win the Finale....and it's 7 15 PM and I'm sick of sitting at work waiting for Motorsports reg to get their shit together.

Sean, actually if you win and Fenter (or anyone else without two event wins) takes 2nd you win the series.

I'm extremely unlikely to even get into the year end trophies though, maybe I'll skip. I did manage to register before they shut it off so we'll see what happens. If I don't win, the points gaps I need to make the math work just aren't there.

Maybe I should try to win. :bonk:

There are nasty rumors of having to do a registration "do-over".
Glad I got enough practice pressing the refresh button today to prepare for next time!! It's like getting a "re-run" right? LOL :bonk:

You're codriving with David Ogburn?

I am Dave's tire warmer. I will be there as #99 unless my job intervenes at the last moment. The size of the CS field is epic.

I am looking for a STX ride for the Pro Final

Let me know if anyone has a seat available.

Thanks,

Eric Simmons

So, who is everyone's picks for CS/STX?

I think Fenter will be hard to catch in CS but Grogan will be right up there. I've got my eye on Lance Keeley and Craig Wilcox in STX.

For CS... me! :)

In all seriousness, hard to bet against Fenter, Harvey, Gorgan, or Ogburn. All have been very successful in CS and can bring home the win.

An under the radar pick would be Adrian Cardenas in his RX8. He is a west coast guy who has been driving at an incredible pace. He won the El Toro and Crows Landing Pros.

There are a few other drivers I've been following that I think are in the running, but I won't list them all. CS is a class loaded with talent and car diversity. I would be lucky to be in the top 10 with the talent that is showing up. Nationals will be an awesome event and I can't wait!

That's exactly how I feel about STX lol. I won the Wilmington Pro and Tour and feel like I'd be happy with a top ten finish at Nats haha.

Priebe will be there, previous jacket winner. Don't count him out. Quinonez was fast last year, there's another dark horse. There's one or two RX-8 drivers who will be near the top.

I've made some setup tweaks since spring nats, the car is the best it's ever been. If I can stop driving like a hack for a hot minute then maybe I'm a dark horse too. If not, there's the Texas biergarten.

Good luck everyone.
