Imprttuner2's SWP '13 BRZ

TL;DR: I accidentally bought a BRZ and I can't get this grin off my face!

First off, I would like to thank the community here for all the help and idea's I've received since my unintentional purchase. I've been an active member or lurker of several forums over the past 15 years, and this is by far one of the more friendly, un-elitist environments I've been a part of.

At the turn of the year, I decided that it was time to start looking for a new car. Until this point, for the past 9.5 years, I've been driving a Obsidian Black '05 Hyundai Tiburon V6. It was my first mature tuner car, and it was an exercise of patience. There was a limited aftermarket scene at best, and a relatively small group of people dedicated to the platform. None the less I did what I could. Ebay headers, Korean Racing Division Exhaust, and whatever else I could get my hands on. It wasn't fast, or particularly agile, but it was a clean build and I loved it.

For the past 4 years I've been missing RWD, and even though I live in the great white north, I decided that my search would be focused on a new RWD coupe, even if I only use it during the summer.

A great opportunity to do some test driving came my way in March, while my wife was going out of town to do some EMT testing. I was gonna have alot of time on my hands, and all of the dealerships that I could ask for within a couple city blocks. I started checking stock online prior to heading out, and found a SWP BRZ at the local Subaru dealership. Normally I'm not a fan of white, but it was one of the top cars on my list, so I figured it was worth a test drive.

That was a mistake.

Pulling up to the car I fell in love with its lines and paint. Sitting down in it was shocking since I had previously never sat in one, and not being a small guy, was worried about that. All 6 feet and 275 pounds of me fell into the seat like it was a glove. Kicked the car over and saw 5000 on the ODO and then the test drive just reinforced my want. 2.1% financing, $0 Down, free extended warranty and a significant discount on the sticker price and I was driving home, and I haven't stopped smiling yet!

Invidia N1 Exhaust went on last night. Big thanks to Imdaspoon for the sale!

Install went beautifully. Used dish soap on the hangers and they freed up pretty easy. Was kinda concerned with how the Invidia tips hooked up to the stock hangers, until I got everything bolted up and realized that it kinda clamps itself down when everything gets bolted together. http://carphotos.cardomain.com/image...2/19114323.jpg

First track weekend was a blast. Came in 11th in my class, and learned a ton. Can't wait to go again next year!
