Mods before adding turbo/supercharger
I'm going to be adding a supercharger or turbo (haven't decided yet) to my FRS. So far, i have upgraded the intake as well as the exhaust. Im wondering if there are any other mods that I should make before going ahead with the forced induction. Also, input on what to choose between a turbo and a supercharger would be greatly appreciated!!!

clamp your pcv system hoses. cam block off plate.
take care of the required supporting mods then look at your budget. You have to decide if you want supercharger or turbo then which kit fits your budget and power/reliability/manufacturer/distributor customer service. Then find a tuner for a dyno tune. |

Ultimately it depends on the kit you are getting, fuel you expect to run and horsepower you want.

if you have to ask big man, you can't afford it.

and FYI to the OP, you said you upgraded the intake but does that mean you upgraded the filter or installed an aftermarket intake? Because if you bought an aftermarket intake you better plan on selling that because you won't be able to use it with either the SC or the Turbo. |

that quote was a joke (from a movie). if you would like a serious response, here it goes. there are a trillion threads on supporting mods for FI so if you haven't done the research and aren't mechanically inclined, you may want to hold off until you are sure about what you're getting into. OP gave a broad questions with no specifics on power goals of car so of course he will get jackass responses :D |
