Questions about fitment
 

I just got s paid of es6s in 18x9.5+34 and the guy at the shop told me I'd have no problem fitting them and they would not rub, I was wondering if anyone is running this same setup and also would 235/40/18 be s good tire size

I believe the guy is right, but it will poke out the fender a little. I also assume your car is not lowered.

that setup will fit easy on stock suspension.

that setup will also look like your car is a 4x4 Power Wheels, if on stock suspension.

no not yet but I plan to get some BC extreme drop kit coilovers before mounting my wheels. Any sugestions on wheel size? I don't want a whole lot of stretch, but something that wont rub. I still want to hoon around from time to time

lol yeah not lowered yet, but plan on getting bc coilovers in the next month before I mount them. Still researching tire size though,

I'd probably would steer you towards 245/35r18 tires if you want a little stretch but nothing extreme.

There's an example of a 235 tire on 18's in this thread over at Mazda. And to me that's to much, but maybe that's what you were going for.

255/35r18 would get you the most square setup

*be aware that certain tire brands will run wider then others even with he same specs. Like hankooks are always wider then Dunlop's for example.

I'd really like to have as little stretch as possible without any run or having to roll fenders or anything like that

I had the exact same setup on BC's with 235/40s. They fit fine. Slight rubbing at full lock but I'm pretty low. The 235s worked well, although I was always a little weary about pushing them too hard. I had no issues though and would recommend that setup. The figment was perfect in my opinion

I was thinking 245/35 just for a little less stretch because usually floor it and take some fast corners at least twice a day lol. im just worried about the 245 rubbing on the fender

It's definitely do-able, how low you want to go will determine how well they fit though.
