csraine86 Scam, csworldfan back?

I found a post on the Members Classified section about an OFT for sale and after a short conversation with the seller, we agreed on a price and I sent him payment shortly after. Having not heard from him for over a week since I sent payment, I started getting a bit suspicious. I contacted a few of the other members who commented on the post (post here) and one other member @MattHoffman) told me he was in the same situation. It seems this guy was hawking some KW V3 coilovers as well as a JDL UEL header, both used.

@MattHoffman and I have both filed Paypal disputes, I just wanted to put this out there in case there are others who have been scammed by this guy. His paypal email is csworldfan@hushmail.com which leads me to believe this is the same csworldfan who was involve in the OFT scandal about a year ago. His Paypal name is Russell Johnson but I don't know if that's legitimate.

Sorry to hear, hopefully you did not send the money as a gift. In which case he is stuck regardless, you will be getting your money back. I don't understand why he even does this.

The moderators should be able to post and see if the IP addresses are anywhere within the same vicinity that CSworldfan was operating in.

Yeah I didn't gift it either but damn now I gotta wait a month to get my cash back!

On the bright side I bought some revwork headers from a member who is not an a-hole, lol, and they sound awesome on my brz! could be awesomer with a tune but... I will just have to wait for that. I heard from another member he was from Yreka CA? idk.
