Cmullen Scammer
I was trying to purchase trd lowering springs from this guy. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89981
He said he prefer google wallet and me being dumb and at work thought it was a sweet deal and sent it to him immediately after giving me his email. He said he was working Saturday 6/19/2015 and would try to send the lowering springs asap with tracking information. Contacted other members after purchasing if they heard from him and scirocco78 said he was a scammer and bumppinKota said he sounded fishy. I feel like an idiot. His email is is Mt6038873@gmail.com, looked him up in Google+ and found out hes a bartender in Memphis Tennessee. https://plus.google.com/u/0/10850902...ts/3XXqZTXN187 He also put his address so somebody can take him out for drinks. 3580 Bowen Ave, Memphis, TN 38122 Not sure what I could do. I'm in the process of trying to get a refund through google wallet but probably won't. http://i.imgur.com/XsB8SCG.png |
Hope I'm not putting this in the wrong place. Sorry in advance

Just out of curiosity how is him being homosexual or a bartender relevant?

Smh what a ***ot if i were you id look for him at the address tie em up, burn his hands and cut off a finger 😠😠😤

Sure, it's lame to be scammed, but maybe you should count it as karma biting you for your homophobic thoughts and comments...

Also, in before all the PC people chastise you for calling him a homosexual! Gasp! |
I edited it so I didn't involve his sexual orientation. Does it change anything?

1) He said he will send them out after 6/19/15? That was last Friday and 4 days without contact makes him a scammer? Hindsight is 20/20 but I'd caution you to not jump to conclusions 2) Who else bought anything? Or are they just jumping to conclusions based on what is posted in a single thread? 3) Why are you buying from someone that is ignoring forum rules? 4) Why pay someone you don't know via a method of payment that is not secure? -alex |

I did try contacting him. I looked at his google plus profile and he's posting photos. No one did. He sent me a photo and couldn't find it on google search but could be generic from anyone from forums and because I was being dumb and impatient. |

What's to say the item hasn't been shipped yet? What if he simply forgot to reply to your email? Again, hindsight is 20/20 but I think there's two key lessons to learn here: 1) use reasonable judgment to protect yourself against scammers before you buy 2) don't jump to conclusions about someone being a scammer until you have definitive proof Frankly, in this day and age even though tracking numbers are expected, the seller has no obligation to provide one unless it was shipped via a courier that has it automatically (UPS/FedEx). Some items sent by Parcel Post (cheapest shipping method) won't have any tracking. I'm not taking the seller's side but I do find this scammer post a bit premature. -alex |
