For those that remember me you won't be surprised to know that even though these are only a few weeks old i have something else ordered. I like them a lot and a couple different people said they were perfect on the car today i am probably going to try something else.

swapped them out already, went with a lighter and slighty narrower Enkei.

What Enkei wheel exactly?
RSM9?

TS9 in platinum grey, 18x8.5 +40 all around. They make a 9.5 rear but at stock power levels i don't see the need for it. I do have some 5mm spacers on the way for the rear to make them a little more flush but the fronts fit perfect.

Awesome @JoeBoxer, were did you get the TS9's (online?)

Got them through one of my vendors, very nice wheels for the price.

Why did you ditch them so quickly?

The face of the 550 sticks out from the barrel quite a bit and they were a magnet for rock chips and other damage. They looked pretty good but wanted to go with something a little simpler and more classy looking.

I do agree with this assessment actually. I have 245/40 on my 9.75 and it looks like I have 225 on them because they appear very stretched when they are not. I hope I get over it. I probably will because you only see it when you're actually looking for it I think. I think they're also very heavy. I did not expect to lose 3mpg going from a 8.75 xxr530 to these staggered on slightly stickier tires...can you confirm their weight?

According to NL Motoring they are only about a half pound more than the 527 or 530. If you have staggered though the wider rears could be heavier than the 8.75 and since those are the wheels that the car has to spin it could take more power to move them which would affect mpgs.

The Enkei i have now are 20 pounds instead of the 23.5 or so of the XXR. That was part of the reason for the swap also.
