Are There Deals to be had on Buying a New BRZ?
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/the...?siteid=yhoof2
I was hoping that the reflection in the water was not going to be part of the story, but it didn't come to be........... |
Based on my last trip to the dealer... depends on the color. I saw 4-5 white...5-6 blue... 1 black... 1 dgm. I believe Subaru is building at 100% capacity, and can not fill orders for the more popular models, so maybe not a stretch that they would cut BRZ production and just let the current stock 'soak'.

I don't see ANY 2015's for sale in New England... dealers say they can order one. Subaru knows they can't force allocations on dealers here 'cause they can't move the inventory.
Best deals we've seen have been a little under 25K for a leftover 2014 limited... Anything under the truecar price (~26.4K for brz lmt 6mt) would be a good deal :2cents: |
Stupid article is stupid.
There's far worse cars that people aren't buying out there... There's not a lot of incentives to buy them right now, but there will be to clear inventory once the 2016's start shipping. It's normal (plus we had a late winter and sports cars don't sell well during the cold months). |

99% of the BRZs that came into New England were orders because Subaru is selling EVERY Outback, Legacy, Forester, and Crosstrek that is allocated to this region. Subaru's biggest problem is lack of inventory for the mainstream models as a result, very few BRZs were allocated, if at all to New England. |

wish they would end production right now.

becauseresalevalue? I'm just south of Boston and when I bought my 2014 limited in 12/13 they pulled the same story. They thought they'd have to order me one but instead they located a SWP limited in CT and had it brought up. I didn't get a steal on it, but not killed either so I was fine. A shame about the allocations; we don't get the crazy deals other parts of the country seem to on these cars. You could always ship it from Hueberg or whatever but when I did the math the cost of shipping it essentially killed the savings. Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk |
The dealer in Knoxville has $3500 off retail on 2015s and there's quite a few sitting on the lot.

What I found interesting that on Thursday evening I went to the Scion website to look at the exhaust tips on the 2015 and the FR-S was not on the web page for 2015 or 2016 models. That seems weird unless they took it off for model year changeover but I don't believe there is really anything in major changes that would warrant that.

Now that's bizarre........that whole site has changed since I looked........FR-S was not the first car listed on the left hand menu...........I guess the site got updated.........

So you want: - factory parts to skyrocket in price - Aftermarket to dry up - Insurance to go up - Community to die - Toyota to stop making cool cars Anytime someone says this crap they need to think about the consequences of what they're asking for... |
