Sonic Blue?
 

So the Australian Toyota website is showing "Sonic Blue" which is looking a hell of a lot different to the blue I was expecting and a hell of a lot more like "WRBlue"

Thoughts everyone?

It's just a crappy shot. The colour code is the same as the other Blues that have been going around (I made sure to check this, E8H is the code).

looks nice on the website, also is it just me or is the velocity orange on the colour view tab really dark, almost red?

on the website they are just rendered colours, not the actual colours. best to see them in person.

On the website that sonic blue reminds me of a baby blue or powder blue. It looks hot. I bet that blue would look outstanding with gold wheels. It has me rethinking if I want to stay pegasus white. But I will probably just stay pegasus white and run with a black/white theme. Another color that has hit me hard is the red. Man it looks great. seems like you cant go wrong with any color unless you go with that burnt orange. That's just wrong. :happy0180:

nah its just the website, dont worry. All the colourrs look a bit strange.

FR-S, GT86 and BRZ colors are all the same, they just get different names in different regions for some stupid reason. Scion, Toyota and Subaru all offer the same dark blue. Subaru also has an exclusive second blue which is WR Blue. Toyota and Scion's exclusive color is the orangy/brown one.

The grey looks really bad also on that website. Best bet is look at various shots in the photo forums.

heck see it in person, my neighbour just got one for a week since he works at Toyota Aus HQ doing some special shiz that i always forget 5min later.... all i can say is that the white looks A LOT better in person than in the pictures. I hope the blue is like that also

lol heyyyy i like the hater orange. If i wasnt obsessed with getting a white car and was going GTS instead of GT i wouldve went with orange i reckon.

Also WR blue is beautiful. THE colour for BRZs. but yeah its exclusive to subaru so sonic blue will always just be the darker blue you see on 86s and FRS'

The toyota website is bs with displaying colours. They look really different in real life!

I had a mini heart attack when I saw how the dark grey looked.. it looks pretty much silver! But then I received a photo from my dealer showing me my car when it arrived this morning and it's exactly as the "asphalt" colour on the fr-s. Major relief and it's oh so sexy.. can't wait for it to be ready!

ah ok thanks for clearing that up guys. Because on the website that sonic blue is amazing. I would be upset to order that color and then have to take delivery of a dark blue. But dark blue is ok. and I think that the burnt orange will grow on me. :clap:

also I'm loving the side skirts in the option kit compared to TRD sideskirts. But the TRD front bumper is pure win with the license plate holder. hmmm choices.
