This might be of interest to anyone considering the TRD bodykit.

I found this on ebay, but it's sold. Good value for $1500.

If you open it and it's screwed then you get your refund even if they say no. It's called the Trade Practices Act.

Trade practices Act does not cover items sourced from overseas ESPECIALLY Hong Kong. Only Items manufactured or resold by australian ABN holders

I was watching that auction, but resisted from buying.. I'd rather wait anyway and see what other kits are available around december.

Guys stay away from dodgy ebay sellers. If you really want one now rather than later go through import monster or someone direct to yahoo japan.

Ballsak2nv 06-18-2012 02:56 AM

Nix is right, dont trust eBay no matter how much you think you know about the seller.

Im currently having difficulty now from a reliable seller that turns out to be "you didnt read the description properly"

eBay is dodgy at best, buyer beware 100%.

I was under the impression from the ebay page that the item was located in Melbourne hence made an assumption. Didn't realise it was a HK company. If that's the case then the purchaser better be praying everything is good and right.

I use ebay all the time, I just meant to stay away from clearly dodgy sellers. Some of the best aftermarket suppliers for my Supra were established HK ebay stores.

Just make sure the buyer has good and established feedback and read up on paypal buyer protection and use that as a safety net.
