Third Brake Light Integrated into the Shark Fin Antenna
I was browsing my computer and came across an old photo I took a few years ago. I think this is pretty cool, but it would cost hundreds of dollars to accomplish this.
But maybe this photo can be an idea for somebody who has the tools and know how to do this. http://i.imgur.com/6qcbEdJ.jpg |
Genius

you could do it much cheaper than hundreds of dollars but would take time. just need a solid red LED and drill it into the sharkfin, then run a wire to the break light and splice it same as you do the lower one.
|
This wouldn't even cost $20. The cost would be the sharifian and the labor. If you wanted to be cheap, there wouldn't even be any more labor than simply running the wire.

I'm developing a wide body shark fin antenna to suit any wide body frs/brz/86 integrating a break light in the middle!
Yes it costs hundreds to develop a new product like this but hopefully I can sell a couple to justify the costs? we shall see... I am going to produce a carbon fiber prototype in the next few weeks and then put it up for sale. Attachment 119348 Attachment 119347 |
Keep me posted on progress, availability and price.

Will be curious to see how this works out. Interested!

I'd be interested in seeing the final product and cost

interested!

I'm guessing it's not legal

I don't see anything stating the amount of lights? But this all depends on the state/country you live in. |

I don't see why it would be illegal anywhere else. As long as the brake light is at least as visible as the original, why should it matter? |
