805 Meets

Good day,

We have about 12 FRS/BRZ cars here local in the area. A regular group of us meet every Friday nights at the Home Depot Parking lot:

6975 Marketplace Dr Goleta, CA 93117

A bunch of different cars show up as well as it is their team meeting but we piggy-back off of them (everyone is cool).

Come meet us.

We are usually there from 9-9:30-11

Crap I'm old and heading for bed around then!

I also live ~40 minutes away but work right near there.

How far is this from Oxnard? Lol

ramiram1984 06-15-2015 02:29 AM

This is about a 30 min drive north from Oxnard

If by driving you mean flying a plane :P

I'd guess a more reasonable estimate would be 55-75 minutes. Still not a bad drive, though, and traffic should be minimal by that time of night I would think.

20 min from Ventura to SB. 10 min from Oxnard to Ventura. Prob around 40 min total?

I do Montecito (east end of SB) to Camarillo (which is basically the next freeway exit after Oxnard) all the time, and it takes at least 40 minutes even when driving quickly. SB airport is 15-25 mins further up the 101 from my house depending on traffic, and the meet location is west of the airport, so I would guess at least an hour.

Regardless, it's not too far to go for a weekly meet!

I work in Goleta, takes me 40 minutes from Santa Paula with the cruise set to 70

Wow, really? Every time I go down the coast in the morning the northbound 101 is a parking lot from SB to Rincon. I'm usually feeling really lucky that I have a southbound commute. What time do you go to work?

Regardless, I might join you guys this Friday-- I've got a birthday thing to go to at six but it might be over by 9.

4am, with traffic it wouldn't be a 40 minute drive, but usually after 6pm there isn't heavy traffic (just drove southbound yesterday at 5pm)

respect to those who commute for work!

I rather hit the track, but if there is a meet setup in or around Oxnard I would try to stop by.
