Insurance for major modifications

I'm curious if anyone here has any experience with who to use for an insurance company for highly modified vehicles.

As a fair warning, those that are forced induction (like myself) are likely not covered for the full amount should they wreck their car even if you have receipts for the mods / work done. Which is why I'm posing this question.

None of the major auto insurers will go above 10k in covered modifications and most won't go above about 3k, so saying state farm, geico, allstate, any of that won't really help because I've already talked to all of them.

Hagerty looked promising but they won't insure cars post 1990...

Any ideas?

My father owns an insurance company and is adamant that i'm covered on anything as long as receipts are available. I would imagine it depends upon what your agent says, and how much modification you report prior to an accident.
