Am I crazy seeing difference in color for my hood?

I got a 2015 world rally blue brz about an month ago. Under a light at night I feel like my hood is darker (more like deeper blue) than any other part of the car. Do any of you guys with world rally blue seeing the difference?

Could have been repainted before delivery.

I'm not sure about WRB, but I know my CWP looks slightly different between my hood and front bumper. It's hard to make a paint that looks the same applied to aluminum vs plastic.

Big, relatively, flat surface can look different on any colour. Hell the lava can look 30 different colours all at once depending on the angle you look at it. The big problem is once you think you see a difference your brain can run with that even if there is none.
Ask somebody else if they think there is a different coloured part on the car. Don't tell them what it is or they can convince themselves it is as well (damned brain). If they can't tell you it is probably ok.

Wrb had a color chance in 2014 or 2015, hood could have been damaged and replaced with an pre color change hood

Also, a lot of times the body of the car will use different paint than the bumpers and/or be sprayed differently. Where I work, we have customers, GM for example, who will get paint for the body but not the plastics.

Thank you all for replies! I'm still not so sure what it is but I think most of it is that I can't get it out of my brain now. It's not a big issue and can't really tell the difference in a sunlight. So I guess I'm gonna have to live with it. And when I take a picture at night it doesn't really show the color differences that I'm seeing. So...Ehhh....

I recently had an accident with my bumper, the insurance guy shot the shit etc etc... eventually he pointed out that the bumpers and the rest of the body don't match colors. Especially my white, it was mainly due to the material used and how they degrade/age.

Also, Subaru aren't known for their paint quality compared to Toyota/Honda.
