suspension arms - whiteline bushing Vs spherical ?
I see a lot of whiteline yellow bushing on the forum but very few with spherical bushing like the RacerX system
I am under the assumption that the spherical bushing are better, more precision and more feedback for track oriented car and especially dedicated track car. Can you guys chime in on what make you choose one system over the other ? I really like the racerX system ;) http://racerxfabrication.com/resize/...bh=1000&h=1000 |
For a track dedicated car yes they are a very effective upgrade especially with high grip tires.
We had (almost) all spherical bearings in our BRZ and it transforms the car. A lot of cars that I see with a lot of money on suspension forget about upgrading bushings, and it's something you can feel. Some of the chassis movement is bushing flex. For a street car I would recommend rubber boots around the bearings or preferably sticking with rubber or poly. We used a combination of completely custom and STI Group N. - Andrew |
Class rules often limit options. RacerX offers both options in their Rear LCA for this reason.
