fr-s/brz vs others financially
 

hi all, i'm still waiting to get to see the car personally and i'm having some thoughts about it, and its about the power in stock form, i'm an enthusiast and right now just looking to make the best financial decision because i'm growing up and priorities have shifted and I cannot really spend to much money on cars as of right now. That said I really like the car as a package but you know later down the line I might get the go fast bug and will want to mod the car, this is haunting me because I would like to get a car and just leave it as is, not mess with it at all, and the 200hp might leave me wanting more

so this got me thinking I could hold out a year and see if the rumors are true that Subaru might come out with a STI version, I don't care if its turbo charged or not but if it has more power and weighs even less as some rumors are claiming then i can wait a year no problem

what I want to know is what got you to make the final decision on the car and what other cars did you consider and picked the fr-s or brz over them, of course i'm talking about similarly priced cars since there are more expensive options

i dont think they will make a sti version anytime soon. as long as they cant keep the regular ones stocked, why would the? if you want power or think you might down the line there are probably better options for you. things like the genesis, mustang gt, ms3, focus st etc
