I was wondering, would this be a problem if I ran Perrin BRZ / FR-S Lightweight Accessory Pulley kit that is slightly stripped on the outside edge of inner ring and is there any way to touch it up? and will it rust metal is exposed.

It won't rust. Aluminum doesn't. I wouldn't bother painting it.

Accutually wait....sorry I forgot. The pulleys are suppose to be balanced. If a lot of metal is missing it might throw off the balance of the pulley and cause exessive wear. Just something to look out for

That's what I was thinking too something this little can possibly cause it to become unbalance. But this isn't the crank pulley. I think its the water pump pulley.
