I would absolutely love to go to this! I'd only stop by for an hour or two, would love to see everyone's 86s and check out the mods and mod ideas! I have zero knowledge, but you know what, that's why I should go to these things. :)

BRZtoni 06-10-2015 12:02 AM

@BRZtoni
would you be cool about a tran/diff fluid change

DGMlJDlBRZ 06-10-2015 12:20 AM

I'd love to learn how to install the rear view camera too so that I'd already have the knowledge to install one whenever the time comes for me to get one.

I might just have grimmspeed hood shocks to install at the most if this is going to happen this Sunday, so I can get all the extra hands I can get to hold my hood lol. Other than that, I can lend a helping hand somewhere if I'm not just standing around admiring everyones cars

Diff/trans fluid is easy super peasy! just provide a fluid transfer pump unless u are using motul since they have it in the bottle.

i never installed a backup camera but in all honestly it seems so easy that I'm sure just looking at it will be a no brainer.

the hood strut will be easy with extra hands holding up the hood

I would like to come to check out others how to mod / change / reverse cam, etc. I don't necessarily need mod on mine but could watch / help to learn :).

Looks like a reverse cam is the most popular lol. I installed my own Beat-Sonic reverse cam so I should be able to help with the physical install. You're on your own with electrical part if you don't have the harness though!

As for me, I'm going to take a shot at wiring the courtesy lights for the FRS if my expertise/hands aren't needed!

I can also teach people to install foot well lights in 30 minutes. I feel like I'm obligated to do this because people keep asking me...:suicide: FYI for anyone interested...it takes no more than 30 minutes and $25 in parts...

FTR: I'd be very interested in watching a header (or front pipe/over pipe) install one day! Planning to go full exhaust in the near future.

Lol will tfad_terrence finally spot my car?!

KungFuWaffle 06-10-2015 01:46 AM

This is a good idea, I've just recently replaced the rear muffler for a muffler delete for my friend and painted my tailclights red, so i can do those if anyone wants them done. But I don't even have a driveway so not my place
On a side note I don't need anything done but I already have the rear view camera everyone is asking about.

I'm gonna take a picture of everyone's cars and post them on the "SoCal Spotted Thread" :P .

This is such an awesome threat! I'm definitely interested to attend. I was wondering what time are you guys going to be there until. I will be coming back from Joshua tree Sunday morning. Lol long drive

Weapon86 06-10-2015 05:13 PM

Someone set a time and place. And on weekends please. I think i lost enough bolts and clips to learn something about FRS/BRZ. Lol

_gt86_user 06-10-2015 08:28 PM

I would be interested in meeting everyone and checking out some builds, I enjoy doing all my own installs and I do have a huge assortment of tools as well so if anyone needs anything I can bring it along for the day.
