Seibon TS Hood questions
 

What's up guys, just ordered the Seibion TS hood and was looking around to no avail, are hood pins/latches a must have with this hood? I've seen people on other cars run carbon fiber hoods and needing hood pins/latches but I couldn't find anything on this forum. Thanks guys.

hood pins/latches are a must on any cf hood. ive not only heard, but have seen way too many cf hoods (of all brands) break off the latch and slam into the windshield and roof. even on my old integra, my cf hood broke at the latch while i was on the fwy but luckily i had hood pins on to keep it from flying off.

Been running my seibon hood for over a year with no problems, a friend also has one that doesn't have pins either. Its pretty much user be aware i think.

Would you rather spend 100 on hood pins or rather spend 1000 for a new hood, front windscreen, and possible roof dent repair? Thats basically weighing the options to see what is more important for you lol
