WooHoo, I finally got it! '15 BRZ Limited CWP

Boyhood dream fulfilled. Sports car obtained!! :happyanim:

I couldn't be happier right now. I have been driving a 2005 Scion TC for ten years and it was very beat up(multiple accidents). After complaining about it Friday night while lurking on these forums, the wife looks at my laptop and says "whats that" and "how much is it"? Then, "go get it". Uh... okay!! So I put my TC back to stock Friday night, went to the dealership Saturday morning and picked up this bad boy!!

Made it home before the storm and tucked her away. Surprisingly small car. It fit in the garage without moving things around when my TC wouldn't.

I put 200 miles on the car and made one simple mod before the weekend was up. So it's time to start the mod journal!

Sound tube delete

So I grabbed the parts mentioned in this thread and did the sound tube delete. It was very easy and made a noticeable difference in tone and sound volume. The sound is definitely more refined.

I ordered clear side markers and have a tint job scheduled for Friday! :D

Congrats on the purchase!

I had a similar feeling when my wife said "just get it already". LOL

Your pics don't work for some reason.

Congrats! Now fix your "Drives" info on your profile :P

Still trying to decide if I want to put these on the BRZ. I had them on my TC and there is still plenty of tread left. 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Wife told me to sell them and get the gold Enkei RPF1.

I don't have any numbers, just my subjective experience. It's most noticeable at freeway speeds. It sounds more refined and less "boomy" or hollow. Maybe a couple DB less? :iono:
