Don't be sorry for anything. Looks are 100% subjective... I think it looks bad-ass. The fact that you did it yourself makes it even better. Good job! PS> All of these type-A autoX comments are a real downer... |
I wasn't going to comment again, I really don't care what you do to your car. I want to explain what I meant when I said you did everything wrong. You even admitted to it basically.
"Quarters are cut, welded/boxed. Front flares has to sit .5" higher than rear due to the fact they are made for a Datsun Z. I will drop the front a little, but will have to get camber plates to allow for clearance. I don't plan to go lower than that. As for my "miscalculations", once I paid for the wheels (and was locked into a 50% refund contract) my rears were not available in the original offset I wanted, had to go 10mm closer to the chassis (from -16 to -6). Tires are technically supposed to be 245/35 up front and 285/30 in the back. I have 245/40's up front and 285/35's in the back. " Fenders that aren't even made for the car. Wrong spec for the wheels/tires. That's what I mean by done wrong. If you like it, great. I'm just giving my honest opinion. I get hate ALL the time on my car, it's a ricer, it's stupid, it's not functional, etc. It's apart of being into cars. |

Looks like a rally car. I dig it OP

I kinda like it. I've always been a fan of the button-on flare look. The wheel offset is a bit more aggressive than I'd have chosen, but the overall look isn't bad. Thank god the thing isn't covered with spoilers/wings/splitters and the rest of the 'aerodynamic' doodads people imagine are helping them...
Edit: Oops - looks like I spoke too soon...just saw the last picture...lol |

It reminds me of an off road vehicle to me. But it's nice to see something different to be honest.
