They are different yes but it all averages out in the end anyway.

Yes they do, you can read about 3 years' worth of comparisons if you typed your whole post in google search

Nope, that's why he asks us. But if this thread is like his other ones, we'll just be called "haters" for bringing it up.

What is this "search" you speak of?? Or I guess I should ask, "Do you know what is this internet??" :search: <-- button seems to be broken.. :sigh: Can you teach me to Google?

Maybe you can make a rap now about the real reason you bought an auto?

"Bangin off teh rev limiter at one two nine nanana"

I think it has potential.

Turn 1 at Thunderhill you have about half a mile traveling down the front stretch where you have to decide whether or not to try shifting to 5th gear with the MT to try and eke out an extra 2-3mph before braking (at least in stock trim). I suppose with the AT you can sail on up to 110-114 before braking if you're brave.

At least, that's my personal experience with the shorter MT gears, along with the slightly lower fuel economy and slightly bigger smile.

Now Strat we already have a couple of MT vs AT threads on the go let's not make this one as well.
